Uganda's National Parks
Bwindi National Park: There are many species of mammals, 360 species of birds and over 200 species of butterflies.
Kibale National Park: Has the highest number of habituated chimpanzees, 335 species of birds as 77% is forest.
Kidepo National Park: A variety of Wildlife not found anywhere else in parks of Uganda and 475 species of birds.
Mgahinga National Park: Gorilla tracking, birding and mountain climbing.
Mount Elgon: This national park (Volcano) is 24 million years old with a variety of birds and other wildlife.
Mount Moroto: Mainly rare birds but there are also Patas monkeys and the spectacular golden cat.
Mount Rwenzori: Amazing scenery, mammals and many rare birds.
Murchison Falls: Magnificent falls, Amazing boat trips, wildlife like Lions, Leopards, Giraffe, Oribis, Hartebeests, rare birds e.g. Shoebill, Pel’s Fishing owl with chances of forest birds and dry scrub birds.
Queen Elizabeth: Uganda’s most popular game reserve with elephants, tree climbing Lions, Leopards, Chimps and over 600 different species of birds.
Semliki National Park: Over 53 species of mammal may be found in this national park.
