6 day Gorilla Safari

A six days safari starts from Kampala/ Entebbe, visiting the mountain gorillas in Uganda or Rwanda and game viewing in Queen Elizabeth National Park. Top or local hotels and lodges are used throughout, and transport is by customized 4x4 vehicles. All meals on safari are provided, bed and breakfast only in Entebbe/ Kampala.

DAY ONE

Arrive at Entebbe, you will be met at the airport and transferred to your hotel. Bed and breakfast. Overnight Hotel. BB.

DAY TWO

After breakfast you will drive to Western Uganda, along mountain roads to either BWINDI or Parc National Des Volcanoes Rwanda gorilla sanctuary- depending on where permits are held overnight in hotel, all meals included. It will be fairly a long day in the vehicle, passing the Equator, some interesting scenery, farmland and lush green hillsides, lunch enroute. Overnight Hotel. FB

DAY THREE

An early morning trek into the forest, led by experienced trackers will bring you amongst a family of mountain gorillas. These massive primates are extremely rare, only 600 remaining. You will get within meters of the family, and be privileged to spend time amongst them.Returning to the camp, we have an opportunity for forest walks with the guides, or just to relax. Overnight Bwindi or Kisoro or Rwanda.The trekking may be fairly strenuous, up to six hours or longer. However it can take as few as 30 minutes depending on location and luck of the day.Mountain gorillas are wild animals, as such sightings cannot be guaranteed; however the success rate is well over 90%. DAY FOUR

After breakfast drive to Queen Elizabeth NP arriving for an afternoon boat ride on Kazinga channel famous for Hippos, bird life and Crocodiles. Overnight Hotel. FB.

DAY FIVE

Morning game drive in search for wildlife like the Lions, Uganda Kob, Elephants, Leopards to mention but a few drive back to your Hotel for breakfast, afternoon boat ride on Kazinga channel famous for Hippos, bird-life and a variety of other wildlife. Overnight Hotel. FB

DAY SIX

After breakfast drive back to Kampala for you flight End of services. OR optional add-ons.

Included in this itinerary: accommodation on fullboard basis, park entrance fees, boat cruises, vehicle hire with fuel and driver guide, ranger guides fees and guided nature walks.

Not included tips, drinks and anything of personal nature, e.g laundry.
